What an inspiration it was to see all the twinkling balloons bobbing up and down in support of a much-needed cure. For me, the balloons represented not only the hope of a cure but the coming together of family, friends, neighbors and strangers to extend a helping hand to those who need it. I believe the power of that energy is as valuable to finding a cure as the money raised. We have all felt what that energy is like. I will always gratefully give my energy away to someone who needs it.
